About the Department


Office of Motor is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Custodian in Minden, La. This role is responsible for performing advanced custodial duties and is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual with strong attention to detail and a commitment to supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the center community.

Position Duties

No experience or training required.

Other Qualifications

Job Duties:  

  • Cleans bathrooms, offices, hallways, and any other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing.

  • Empties and decontaminates trash containers; may assist in disposing of infectious waste.

  • Moves, rearranges, and dusts furniture and fixtures. 

  • Learns to mix or blend cleaning solutions to proper concentrations as necessary for various tasks.


Position-Specific Details:

Appointment Type:   Classified WAE (not to exceed 1,245 hours in a 12-month period)

Work Schedule: 2 hours a day/3 days a week

Compensation:  $10.00 per hour
