The Concord Cybersecurity Program helps protect the organization from cyber threats by ensuring that people, processes, and technology work together effectively. The program focuses on identifying and managing risk, protecting sensitive information, detecting issues early, responding efficiently to incidents, and supporting recovery efforts. Core areas include governance and compliance, security operations, engineering, incident response, and employee training, all aligned with recognized industry standards.
The intern will gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity, including exposure to technical security controls, user access management, vulnerability identification and remediation, and third-party risk assessment.
Our paid internship program will give you a unique opportunity to enhance your professional skillset, increase your knowledge of the industry, and expand your network. Our goal is to help you develop your talents as well as receive dedicated mentorship and support. Our Spring Internship Program will run from Tuesday, June 2nd – Friday, August 14th and allows interns to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This internship is a paid in-person opportunity and requires the ability to work in the specified office location.
Responsibilities:What you'll do:
- Review security alerts and assist in determining whether they represent legitimate threats or false positives.
- Review vulnerability scan results, identify security weaknesses, and collaborate with the team on remediation efforts.
- Assist with drafting and updating cybersecurity policies.
- Support vendor risk surveys and third-party risk assessments.

- This internship is a part-time paid internship and requires someone located in/near Nashville, TN.
- The timeline of this internship program runs from Tuesday, June 2nd – Friday, August 14th. You must be able to work 20 hours/week.
The hourly rate for this position is $17.87
