Position Overview: A cybersecurity intern supports the IT team at Family Care Center by assisting with monitoring systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to potential threats. They may help analyze security logs, perform basic risk assessments, and follow established procedures to protect sensitive patient and organizational data. Through hands-on experience, a cybersecurity intern develops technical skills, learns industry best practices, and gains exposure to real-world security challenges while contributing to the overall safety of Family Care Center’s digital environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Shadows members of assigned department as they perform their duties.
• Participates in department specific projects.
• Assists with research, filing, data entry and recording and maintaining accurate and complete departmental records.
• Supports the preparation of assigned department reports.

Other Duties:

• May reconcile departmental invoice and expense reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrollment in an accredited university required.
• Previous experience related to area of study preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of area of study concepts.
• Frequently required to sit, talk, or hear and work in front of a computer. Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.

Hourly Compensation: $18 - $20
