GENERAL DESCRIPTION

 ChemTreat’s Cybersecurity Intern supports the organization’s cybersecurity program through awareness, documentation, and operational execution. Responsibilities include leading security awareness and training initiatives, developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and technical documentation, and partnering with the VES team to document standard work. The role supports vulnerability management and remediation tracking, monitors emerging threats and industry best practices, delivers weekly cybersecurity updates, and contributes to special cybersecurity initiatives as needed.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and deliver security awareness (e.g. email cyber tips, etc.) and training initiatives.
• Collaborate with the VES Team to document detailed standard work.
• Review cybersecurity policies.
• Attend weekly Veralto cybersecurity training
• Support vulnerability management activities, including remediation tracking.
• Research emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
• Prepare and present weekly cybersecurity update.
• Coordinate with other IT leaders to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gain risk tolerance exposure.
• Respond to active and ongoing threats.
• Complete special cybersecurity projects, as needed

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts

• Constantly required to sit and occasionally required to walk, stand, climb (includes stairs), balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell
• Constantly using hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards.
• Routinely required to reach with hands and arms, squat, turn/twist, or reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $15 - $20 USD per hour.
