Data Analyst - Content GaBi

Goals and tasks

• Play a major role in the annual content upgrade of our database, including the development and adaptation of life cycle assessment models in the GaBi software
• Develop into a life cycle expert and a power user of the GaBi software and database solutions
• Develop process chain engineer expertise and be familiar with the important technical details of the world’s major supply chains
• Support Data-on-Demand queries including the development of complex client specific models and processes
• Become a specialist in two specific fields/sectors
• Observe Indian and Asian market regarding actual developments/trends in e.g. regional data needs and communicate regularly to product manager and product owner

Responsibilities

• Work according to the process based on the “Scrum” methodology updating and creating content for the GaBi databases
• Develop expertise in two specific fields/sectors

Qualification

• Completed degree in engineering or natural sciences with a technical background
• Strong quantitative or technical background with an excellent aptitude for analytical thinking
• Aptitude for learning new software - Experience with GaBi a plus
• Knowledge and passion for sustainability, life cycle thinking, product sustainability, and/or climate change
• Natural curiosity to investigate issues, conduct research, design solutions and translate results into business practices
• Interest in dealing with technical details of the manufacturing process of material and energy supplies, etc.
• Affinity for team work, as well as ability to work independently and responsibly
• Structured and disciplined in the day-to-day organization of work, with a particular interest in adhering to and promoting predefined processes
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English
