We are looking for Data Analysts to join our Global E-commerce Governance and Experience Data Science and Analytics team. The Governance and Experience team strives to build a worry-free shopping journey for our users on TikTok. We provide a trustworthy e-commerce experience by (1) eliminating malicious sellers, (2) ensuring listings are policy compliant, (3) ensuring users receive authentic products in the condition they expect, and (4) in the rare chance the order experience does not meet customer expectations, we make things right by providing hassle-free solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Set up the metrics to measure governance and experience (GNE) operation activities, including management of risk, fraud and abuse, as well as experiences from sellers, customers and creators.
- Responsible for justifying GNE business value in a scientific way, work closely with the business teams to figure out the goals in both short term and long term.
- Monitoring the key metric changes, and deep dive for the reason behind. Highlight the key insights to business partners with timely response.
- Make business impact with data and proactively generate insights and data solutions for business partners to make the business achieve the goal.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Recently or currently enrolled in a BS/MS program with a graduation date between December 2025-December of 2026.
- Ability to clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong communication skills for presenting analysis results.
- Experience with data tools such as Tableau (for dashboards/visualization), Alteryx or Tableau Prep (for data preparation/ETL), and Jupyter Notebooks (for exploratory analysis and prototyping).
- Familiarity with SQL-based environments and big data platforms (e.g., Hive, Spark).
- Product Analytics, Statistics, and Experimentation expertise.
Preferred Qualifications:
- E-commerce or online marketplace trust & safety experience is strongly preferred.
