About the Team
The E-commerce Supply Chain and Logistics team is dedicated to enhancing clients' shopping experience and reducing logistics operational cost in TikTok E-commerce. We are searching for a Data Analyst who will be responsible for data analysis of TikTok Shop's global logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for data analysis of TikTok e-commerce's global logistics operations;
- Maintain & improve operation performance index; assist top management to monitor the weekly and bi-monthly operation performance; analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports;
- Cooperate with logistics team to set strategy, e.g. Leadtime improvement, cost reduction, logistics experience rating, etc; communicate findings to influence others to take actions;
- Follow-up data analysis of operation teams in several overseas markets, support operation and provide optimization suggestions;
- Cooperate with Products and ETL teams to define system requirements, build data products, improve and roll-out product features to support business.
Minimum Qualifications
- Recently or currently enrolled in a BS/MS program with a graduation date between December 2025-December of 2026.
- Ability to clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong communication skills for presenting analysis results.
- Experience with data tools such as Tableau (for dashboards/visualization), Alteryx or Tableau Prep (for data preparation/ETL), and Jupyter Notebooks (for exploratory analysis and prototyping).
- Familiarity with SQL-based environments and big data platforms (e.g., Hive, Spark).
- Product Analytics, Statistics, and Experimentation expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
- E-commerce or online marketplace trust & safety experience is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience with logistics or supply chain companies.
- To succeed in the role, you need to be a proactive, self-driven and impact-driven person.
- Be able to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
