Your role at Clorox:

We are looking for a Data Analytics Intern to support our manufacturing operations by analyzing production data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance. This role will work closely with operations, quality, and supply chain teams to leverage data for continuous improvement. Schedule: Flexible Part-time days specific hours would be discussed and agreed upon when offered to candidate

In this role, you will:

  • Collect, clean, and organize data from production systems, ERP, and quality control databases.
  • Analyze manufacturing KPIs such as throughput, downtime, scrap rates, and cycle times.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to monitor plant performance.
  • Assist in root cause analysis for production issues using statistical methods.
  • Support predictive analytics projects (e.g., machine maintenance, demand forecasting).
  • Document findings and present insights to operations and leadership teams.

What we look for:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and operational KPIs.
