About this role

About the program

This internship is a full-time, 12-week program (40 hours per week) running from May through August. Interns will gain hands-on professional experience by contributing to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business. The program will conclude with a presentation to the senior leadership team, highlighting both the project outcomes and the overall internship experience. Throughout the summer, interns will also gain broad exposure to the organization and its operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Help LCS continue to activate our analytics strategy by working on key business problems that deliver results and delight our residents
  • Gain hands on experience working with our cloud analytics platform to build a variety of analytical solutions such as dashboards, models, casual interference and more
  • Build technical skills using SQL, Python, and Power BI while also getting the opportunity to communicate your findings to internal business partners
  • Partner closely with other analytics roles such as data engineering, data science, data analysis, and data governance
  • Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments
  • Participate in professional development and networking opportunities
  • Present your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship
  • Gain a broad understanding of our industry and operations through mentorship, training, and shadowing opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program
  • Curiosity and drive to dig deep into disparate data sources
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a mission-driven organization
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the 12-week program
