As an**intermediate or senior data engineer**on the Enterprise Data team, you’ll work alongside Data Engineers and Consultants to provide a world-class data platform that empowers every team within the enterprise to independently build and manage innovative data products through self-service experience. In this role you'll build, maintain, and support the data solutions that provide our customers capabilities to effectively use data for better business decisions. You’ll be tasked with solving complex problems using data-focused software engineering. Additionally, you'll research industry trends and Progressive enterprise-wide data/architecture capabilities, implement new techniques as necessary, build data pipelines and provide technical recommendations for advancing our data strategy.

This a remote position for US based work only.

**Must-have qualifications**

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of one year of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications.
• In lieu of degree, minimum of two years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications may be accepted.

**Preferred Skills**

• Experience with HVR or related data replication tools, experience with orchestration and transformation tools (Prefect and/or dbt), as well as cloud services and platforms Snowflake and AWS (S3, Lambda, EMR)
• Experience with building data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and integrating data from various sources
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, and related technology stacks
• Comprehensive understanding of the data lifecycle, from ideation and ETL/ELT processes, through deployment of data products, ensuring efficient data enablement and reporting solutions
• Experience/exposure to SQL Server Integration Services

**Compensation**

• $97,650 - $131,2000/year (depending on position level and experience)
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
