Are you looking for a career change that will put you in direct support of the nation's warfighters while working with a talented team of Engineers and Program Managers? Then, KBR wants you. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to input and process data from our multiple DoD and Commercial customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage documents and other data transfers from and to our customers utilizing secure transfer sites such as TopView, Safe Site, or secure transfer methods.
- Process and manage customer‑provided technical data, ensuring proper version control, traceability, and alignment with configuration baselines.
- Work closely with our configuration management team to ensure data deliverables are submitted in a timely manner.
- Ensure data deliverables are created in accordance with the appropriate specification (i.e. Data Item Descriptions, Customer Provided requirements, etc.)
- Aid Configuration Management in managing the drawing / document review database.
- Manage the TopView Database for our DoD Customer
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, with 1-3 years in configuration management, data management, or document control, preferably in a DoD setting (an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)
- Experience working with controlled technical data, document workflows, or configuration baselines.
- Current DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and data sources.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office tools
- Proficiency with SharePoint, SolidWorks PDM, or other Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or configuration management systems.
- Familiarity with DoD tools such as TopView, Safe Site, and similar secure data transfer environments.
- Strong understanding of DoD Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) and US Government Data Rights markings.
- Experience working with DoD programs, engineering teams, or technical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to coordinate across multiple functions.
