WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Operations & Analytics Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting both People Operations and Sales Operations by improving data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational processes. You will work across teams to analyze data, identify gaps, and support initiatives that drive better decision-making and efficiency.
You will play a meaningful role in improving data integrity and operational effectiveness while contributing to real-world initiatives that impact reporting, process improvement, and business outcomes.
This is a 10-week summer internship (June 2 – August 6) requiring 40 hours per week of onsite work in Marietta, Georgia. In this role, you will contribute to data analysis, reporting, and operational improvement initiatives that directly support business performance.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Support data and analytics initiatives across People Operations and Sales Operations while working alongside experienced team members
- Assist in maintaining and improving data accuracy across systems, including employee and CRM data
- Conduct data cleanup efforts by identifying duplicates, incomplete records, and inconsistencies
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and potential gaps that impact reporting and decision-making
- Support development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and data summaries
- Assist in validating and reconciling data across systems to ensure consistency and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and reporting processes
- Help identify opportunities to improve data collection, entry, and maintenance practices
- Contribute to documenting data processes, standards, and best practices
- Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to support analytics initiatives
- Complete a capstone project or final presentation summarizing key insights, improvements, or recommendations delivered during the internship
WHO YOU ARE
You are a detail-oriented and analytical problem solver with an interest in data, business operations, and process improvement. You enjoy working with data, identifying inefficiencies, and helping teams improve how they operate.
Key Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field
- Strong interest in data analysis, reporting, or business operations
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present data and insights clearly
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or similar data tools
- Exposure to CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Basic understanding of data validation, reporting, or analytics concepts
- Interest in process improvement or operational efficiency
