Data Science/Analytics Intern

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Science/Analytics Intern to work 20hrs/week in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Candidates must be a US Citizen with an active Security Clearance or eligibility for a US Security Clearance Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support technical work to grow your skills of Data Science/Analytics. Develop innovative solutions to Data Science challenges Collaborate with colleagues on guided projects directly flowing back to real contracts    Basic Qualifications: U.S. Citizen with an active Security Clearance or eligibility for a US Security Clearance  Full Time student pursuing a BS or MS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field with a graduation date no earlier than December 2026 Coursework and/or prior internship related to data science/analytics Working knowledge of statistical modeling  Working knowledge of Python, R, Scala, or JavaScript  Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Prior research or studies in Indo-Pacific topics A passion for low-level / embedded data/science analytics  Working knowledge of  cloud computing/cloud storage and SQL Clearance Requirements: Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.    Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80%
