We are seeking a motivated and curious Data Science Summer Intern to join our team and contribute to impactful, data-driven projects. In this role, you will work alongside an experienced Research & Development team to analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and develop actionable insights using tools such as Python, R, or SQL. This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do
• Support the R&D team with day-to-day analytical tasks and contribute to ongoing modeling and research initiatives
• Learn how to build, validate, and deploy machine learning models using industry-standard tools such as Python, SQL, and cloud-based platforms.
• Collaborate with teammates across Product, Sales and Data Operations to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
• Bring your ideas and curiosity to real-world problem-solving by exploring datasets, identifying trends, and presenting findings to stakeholders
• Develop your technical and professional skills through hands-on project work, code reviews, and mentorship from experienced data scientists.
What You’ll Bring
• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python or R, with exposure to data manipulation, Large Language Models and exploratory data analysis
• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and apply academic knowledge to real-world data challenges in a professional setting
• Ability to think analytically and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Curiosity about machine learning, artificial intelligence, and the role of data in driving business decisions.
Nice-to-Have
• Project experience related to data science, machine learning, or statistical analysis, such as academic research, data competitions, or personal data projects.
• Involvement in student organizations, hackathons, volunteering, or leadership roles that demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and a passion for data and technology
• Familiarity with specific tools or technologies such as PowerBI, Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, AWS
This position will be located in Atlanta and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
