Data Science Intern

Job Description:

• During this internship you will have the opportunity to work with data from state-of-the-art IC products across the NXP portfolio
• You will be part of a global team and interact with data scientists, product engineers and experts from other disciplines including design, test and manufacturing, while shadowing your mentor to accomplish goals
• Engage in advanced analytics on voluminous data coming from automated test facilities – solving ‘needle in the haystack’ problems, classification problems and problems which may require machine-learning solutions
• Creation of new, novel solutions to difficult manufacturing and operations problem.
• Training, guidance and coaching will be part of the program

Attributes:

• Familiarity with Python
• Worked on projects using ML libraries and APIs such as scikit-learn / Tensorflow / Keras
• Experience with statistical analysis techniques and software such as R/JMP/Minitab/Exensio
• Knowledge in statistical analysis and modelling of data (especially ML models)
• Knowledge of semiconductor design, process, and testing is a plus
• Knowledge of LLM and agentic AI is a plus
• Studying to a Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Engineering/Computer Science/Data Science/Math or similar
• Curious; hungry for knowledge; self-driven
