Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining detailed product requirements for new portal integrations and enhancements.
  • Document data fields, workflows, login processes, and portal-specific nuances to support RPA development.
  • Participate in the QA process to validate integration functionality, data accuracy, and document retrieval.
  • Track integration performance, identify failures or data inconsistencies, and coordinate resolution with the RPA development team.
  • Monitor changes to external fund administrator and asset manger portals, and flag required updates to maintain integration functionality.
  • Contribute to release planning, execution and internal communication after integration changes or enhancements.
  • Investigate data anomalies surfaced by internal teams or clients.
  • Perform root cause analysis and propose fixes or enhancement requirements.
  • Partner with the RPA Developers, Data Operations, and Client Delivery teams to ensure high standards of data completeness and delivery of alternative investment information.
  • Develop strong expertise on the portal ecosystem and AltExchange integration flows.
  • Identify portal changes proactively with updates delivered before client impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, data analytics, or in a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial services, alternative investments, product operations, or data-focused roles
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data; Excel and SQL a plus
  • Able to interpret financial statements, fund reports, and alternative investment terminology
  • Experience running integrations with minimal downtime
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with or supporting RPA or automation integrations (i.e. UiPath, Automation Anywhere) is preferred
  • Familiar with alternative investment platforms such as Juniper Square, eFront, FIS, Citco, SS&C, or sponsor portals is preferred
  • Exposure to product development lifecycles, user stories, or requirement writing is preferred
