As a CDL Class A Truck Driver you are responsible to safety operate tractor-trailer equipment (Drop & Hook) and maintaining properly to transport material to designated location in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip & post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance of vehicles and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Home time is great with our 2/2/3 schedule (works every other weekend). We are currently looking to fill night positions (6pm - 6am).
Compensation:
$26.00 - $28.00 per hour
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job) An asterisk (*) indicates essential job functions that cannot be modified in order to fulfill the job requirements.
- Safely operates a tractor-trailer to transport brewery products locally.
- Conduct pre-tip & post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance of vehicles.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company polices while driving.
- Maintain proper information in truck cab pouch.
- Report information accurately and completely on daily timecards, truck cab information and other needed paperwork.
- Maintain and support a safe and harassment free work environment.
- Ensure OSHA< DOT, EPA, MSHA, Federal, State and Local Safety and environmental regulations compliance and attend required training.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written)
- Ability to read maps and navigate to new locations.
- Must be self0motivated, team-player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and recognize matters needing attention and initiate action to that recognition.
- Always work safely and take action to prevent all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements)
- General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent.
- A CDL Class A (tractor0trailer) license.
- Must have and maintain medical card and acceptable driving record and required endorsements
