About this role

As a Developer, you are responsible for creating and maintaining software development lifecycle activities pertaining to the business applications. You will design, code, test, debug, and document existing and new enhancements supporting Customer Master Data Management (MDM), Informatica Product 360 (P360), enterprise integrations, and data quality initiatives.

Responsibilities: 

  • • Works with project managers, business analysts, data stewards, architects, and product owners to understand how business requirements and technical specifications will translate to actual work product across Customer MDM, Informatica Product 360 (P360), and enterprise data platforms.
  • • Maintains a culture of open communication, collaboration, mutual respect and productive behaviors; hires, trains and retains top tier talent and mentors team members to new and fulfilling career experiences.
  • • Experience with Customer MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, Informatica Product 360 (P360), Reltio, Semarchy, Profisee, SAP MDG, or comparable technologies.
  • • Identifies risks, barriers, efficiencies and opportunities when thinking through development approach.
  • • Explores all technical options when considering a solution, including MDM platforms, PIM platforms, enterprise integration tools, third party solutions, cloud technologies and existing technology components.
  • • Participates in collaborative efforts through all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, technical design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • • Designs, develops, configures, and supports Customer MDM and Informatica Product 360 (P360) solutions to ensure accurate, consistent, and trusted customer and product master data across enterprise systems.
  • • Develops and maintains product data models, taxonomies, classifications, attributes, reference data, and hierarchy structures within Informatica Product 360.
  • • Partners with business stakeholders, product data stewards, merchandising teams, and domain experts to define and implement product data governance, workflow processes, business rules, and validation rules within Informatica P360.
  • • Develops integrations between MDM platforms, Informatica Product 360, CRM systems, ERP systems, supplier platforms, digital applications, eCommerce platforms, and downstream consuming applications.
  • • Supports customer identity management, data matching, survivorship rules, hierarchy management, deduplication processes, product enrichment, and enterprise data governance initiatives.
  • • Configures and supports Informatica Product 360 workflows, approval processes, data enrichment activities, publishing processes, and business validations to ensure completeness and quality of product information.
  • • Supports product onboarding, catalog management, digital asset management, data enrichment, classification management, and syndication capabilities within Informatica Product 360.
  • • Understands lifecycle of various technology sub-systems that comprise the Master Data Management and Product Information Management ecosystem (i.e., version, release, roadmap), including current capabilities, compatibilities, limitations and dependencies; understands and advises of optimal upgrade paths.
  • • Leverages relationships with key IT, QA, Data Governance, Product Management, and other corporate colleagues by communicating and collaborating on cross-functional initiatives.
  • • Works with project managers, business analysts, data stewards, and product owners to understand how business requirements and technical specifications will translate to actual work product across enterprise data platforms.
  • • Develops technical documentation, such as system context diagrams, design documents, data flow diagrams, interface specifications, workflow configurations, and release procedures.
  • • Participates in troubleshooting efforts for production issues of all levels and severities through a hands-on approach, including root cause analysis, defect resolution, incident management, and coordination with third-party vendors as appropriate.
  • • Provides ongoing production support for Customer MDM, Informatica Product 360 applications, integrations, data pipelines, and associated systems to ensure system stability and business continuity.
  • • Participates in data quality improvement initiatives by identifying data inconsistencies, duplicate records, hierarchy issues, workflow failures, integration failures, and process optimization opportunities.
  • • Participates in architecture and design discussions to ensure scalable, maintainable, and secure MDM and Product Information Management solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
  • • Supports release management, application upgrades, environment strategy, platform enhancements, and deployment activities for Informatica Product 360 and Customer MDM platforms.
  • • Works with Data Governance teams to establish and enforce data standards, stewardship processes, business rules, naming conventions, and master data management best practices.
  • • Ensures adherence to data governance standards, security policies, data privacy regulations, and master data management best practices.

Qualifications:

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Information Systems, or related field required.
  • • 3 years required, 5 years preferred experience in a development role in an enterprise environment with responsibility for the delivery, support, and maintenance of enterprise data management solutions.
  • • 3 years required, 5 years preferred experience with Customer Master Data Management (MDM), Product Information Management (PIM), Informatica Product 360 (P360), or related technologies.
  • • 3 years required, 5 years preferred experience developing solutions using modern development tools, integration technologies, and best practices.
  • • Experience supporting production environments and resolving application, integration, workflow, and data-related incidents.
  • • Experience developing and supporting customer and product master data integration and synchronization processes between enterprise applications.
  • • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Informatica Product 360 data models, hierarchies, taxonomies, classifications, workflows, business validations, and approval processes.
  • • Experience supporting product master data governance, stewardship, enrichment, publication, and syndication processes utilizing Informatica Product 360.
  • • Experience developing integrations between Informatica Product 360 and enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, ERP, CRM, eCommerce, supplier management, and digital commerce platforms.
  • • Working knowledge of Customer MDM concepts including matching, merging, survivorship, hierarchy management, data stewardship, and data governance.
  • • Working knowledge of Product Information Management (PIM) concepts including product onboarding, catalog management, product hierarchy management, classifications, taxonomies, attribute management, and product enrichment.
  • • Working knowledge of Informatica Product 360 architecture, workflow configuration, security models, platform administration, and integration capabilities.
  • • Working knowledge with code management systems.
  • • Working knowledge with intake and task management tools.
  • • Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • • Working knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, ETL processes, data services, and event-driven architectures.
  • • Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and data quality management practices.
  • • Experience with production monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis, application support, and operational support processes.
  • • Experience with Informatica technologies including Product 360 (P360), Informatica MDM, Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), PowerCenter, IICS, or related Informatica solutions preferred.
