How you'll contribute
An Imaging Technologist who excels in this role:
- Perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice as ordered.
- Monitors patient condition and respond to changes as appropriate.
- Prepares equipment and supplies, select exposure factors and imaging parameters, and ensures compliance with safety standards.
- Performs quality control checks on equipment; troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports malfunctions as necessary.
- Positions patients and perform imaging procedures.
- Analyzes results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action including repositioning or repeating procedures.
- Enters, transmits, and reports scan results accurately.
- Provides direct support in meeting departmental service levels.
- Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Provide quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.

Applicants should be graduates of a Radiologic Technology program. Additional requirements include: - Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiology and mammography with CT preferred
- Current State of Nevada X-ray license.
- BCLS required.
