About this role
Description
We are hiring a Digital Asset Specialist to join our Amazon MGM Studios Marketing Digital Asset Management team. In this role, you'll champion the best practices, tools, standards, and processes required for operational excellence across a growing slate of the world's most inspiring content. You'll take standards and put them into practice, stewarding our marketing libraries to support today's business needs and tomorrow's opportunities.
The Digital Asset Specialist works closely with global marketing teams, creatives, producers, campaign managers, launch managers, and external agencies, with deep immersion into day-to-day operations. You will provide hands-on support managing libraries of marketing assets—including key art, trailers, TV spots, digital banners, and physical media—ensuring they are properly ingested, organized, distributed, and archived within our DAM ecosystem.
The Digital Asset Specialist is:
* A systems thinker – You see the connections between metadata, organizational structures, and downstream workflows, and you understand how small inconsistencies create big problems at scale
* Relentlessly organized – You thrive in high-volume environments where thousands of assets move through the pipeline weekly, and nothing slips through the cracks on your watch
* Change-ready – You adapt quickly when tools, platforms, or processes evolve, and you help others navigate transitions with patience and clear communication
* A trusted steward – You handle pre-release, confidential content with discretion and take content security seriously as a daily practice, not an afterthought
* Proactively helpful – You anticipate what stakeholders need before they ask, and you flag issues early rather than waiting for them to become problems
Key job responsibilities
* Set up title organizational structures, permissions, and user access within DAM tools
* Perform regular library audits to identify mislabeled, duplicate, or expired assets
* Support marketing campaigns by ensuring all deliverables are properly housed and accessible per campaign timelines
* Handle and resolve asset search requests; prepare and deliver links for leadership
* Maintain content security standards, including tiering categorizations and secure sharing protocols
* Manage internal user accounts, permissions, and routine compliance audits
* Train and onboard new users and agencies to DAM systems, standards, and tools
* QC, ingest, and release assets to DAM applications with accurate and consistent metadata tagging
* Support rollout of new tools and workflows by creating user-facing documentation and training materials; serve as a point of contact for stakeholder questions during transitions
* Assist with platform migrations, tool transitions, and system upgrades—including data mapping, QA validation, and user acceptance testing
* Identify opportunities to streamline ingestion, tagging, and distribution workflows; contribute to automation initiatives and tool enhancements
* Develop and maintain program documentation, respond to user requests in our ticketing system
A day in the life
You will work closely with global marketing teams, creative agencies, campaign managers, content security, and international stakeholders to ensure marketing assets are properly managed throughout their lifecycle. You should be comfortable diving deep into metadata, file structures, and system workflows to continuously improve library health and operational efficiency.
As a reliable practitioner in a fast-moving environment, you'll support multiple campaigns simultaneously while navigating platform migrations and evolving tools. You are detail-obsessed, adaptable to change, and an excellent communicator who keeps stakeholders informed and unblocked.
