Job Summary:

Provides web-based support for marketing and communications initiatives, including web content, landing pages, CRM integration, email marketing and search engine optimization. Ensures that online marketing follows best practices within the industry, including user-centered web best practices and 508c3 compliance. Provides day-to-day maintenance of the content and features of online presence.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implements system digital plans and provides support for marketing and communications plans both at the system and regional level. Oversees design and content updates to website, ensuring standards for timeliness and quality are met.
  • Develops market-based web content including gathering and researching information that enhances the value of the website to intended audiences.
  • Applies principles of HTML5, CSS and SEO.
  • Partners with marketing team members to develop landing pages, email marketing and conversion points in support of marketing campaigns, integrating CRM and/or other features to facilitate tracking of customer engagement.
  • Serves as project manager on multi-disciplinary teams that oversee web changes/ enhancements, e.g. developing a system-wide provider finder or online health risk assessment.
  • Coordinates with IHT and the System Digital Experience Designer to implement web tactics that require developer support, ensuring on time delivery of digital deliverables.
  • Supports the patient experience through the implementation of fluid design and customer-focused content.
  • Monitors and enforces compliance with organization brand guidelines, editorial standards, ADA compliance, CAN-SPAM, NCQA regulatory and web standards.
  • Ensures that the organization’s web presence meets customer expectations as regards to core functionality such as search, responsive design, geo-location and tracking.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of web-based tactics and strategies to ensure a leading-edge web presence. Embraces continuous improvement principles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
