Overview: 

Reporting to the Manager of Email Marketing for J.Crew, the Marketing Coordinator will work primarily on the email marketing team and drive the J.Crew business. This person is responsible for assisting in deploying daily emails, SMS and Push Notifications, ensuring accuracy of all outgoing communication, and reporting on performance. This position will have exposure to all aspects of email, SMS and Push marketing, as well as the broader performance marketing strategy at J.Crew. Prior experience in email marketing at an eCommerce or retail company, with a demonstrated passion for the J.Crew brand, is preferred. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with set up, QA and deployment of email, sms and push campaigns for J.Crew business 

  • Analyze and report out on email campaign performance with quantitative and qualitative data to drive channel performance 

  • Support segmentation and personalization strategies to ensure we are optimizing content at the customer level 

  • Assist in the creation and building of audience segments 

  • Deliver against revenue, key business KPIS and goals 

  • Assist in reporting out on creative performance to the creative marketing team to analyze and inform email, sms and push content strategy go forward 

  • Partner with Production, Creative, Email Operations, Planning, and Site Merchandising teams to drive the email, sms and push channel strategy 

  • Assist with ad hoc tasks for the broader marketing organization, as needed 

  • Manage the status of email, sms and push sends to ensure messages are delivered on time 

  • Compile and maintain competitor content 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 1-2 years of related experience in email marketing 

  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics 

  • Experience with a major ESP (Ex: Oracle, Salesforce, Adobe) 

  • Very strong communication and team-working skills  

  • High level of organization coupled with attention to detail  

  • Self-starter who exhibits curiosity  

  • Able to prioritize multiple objectives within a fast-paced, changing environment 

  • Able to be resilient when dealing with high- pressure situations 

  • Aptitude to think strategically but act tactically 

  • Confidence in project management and presentation skills

Hourly Range: $22.98 - $26.49
