Fall Creek is creating a world with better blueberries through its friendly, collaborative team spread across the globe. To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified Digital Marketing Intern.This position will be located in Lowell, OR.
The Fall Creek Digital Marketing Intern will support the global marketing team by contributing to digital strategy initiatives with a focus on LinkedIn optimization, paid digital advertising, and social media performance across key global markets. The position will assist in analyzing current marketing efforts and help to develop recommendations to enhance engagement, brand visibility, and lead generation.
This position will initially report to the Marketing Director, with day-to-day oversight transitioning to the Marketing Specialist in the near term, and eventually to the Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager once that role is filled by end of July. The intern will also collaborate with members of the global marketing team and help support cross-functional initiatives that will impact multiple regions including US/Canada, Mexico, Peru, Chile, and EMEA including Southern Africa.
What you'll do at Fall Creek:
- Conduct audits of LinkedIn organic strategy, including content performance, posting frequency, and engagement metrics and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Evaluate LinkedIn paid advertising campaigns that include Sponsored Content, Lead Gen Forms, and Thought Leader Ads; recommend optimizations based on targeting and performance data.
- Analyze global social media channels and provide region-specific recommendations to improve visibility, engagement, and alignment with market behaviors.
- Develop campaign proposals to support product launches, relaunches, and brand initiatives, ensuring consistency across global markets while addressing regional nuances.
- Prepare and present deliverables including audit reports, performance summaries, and strategic recommendation decks.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support ongoing digital initiatives and projects.
- Participate in team meetings, workshops, and mentorship sessions to support professional development and project alignment.
- Assist with additional marketing projects and assignments as needed.
What you bring to Fall Creek:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and provide insights.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (LinkedIn Campaign Manager preferred).
- Experience with social media analytics tools.
- Interest in global marketing strategies.
