Medica will host a 12-week, paid Internship Program. Interns will have the opportunity to network within Medica and with other Interns through weekly Lunch and Learns and opportunities to hear from Executives. Each internship offers a meaningful experience and impactful projects you’ll be able to discuss with future employers. At Medica, we look forward to our Summer Internship Program each year.
Medica’s Digital Marketing Intern helps support email and text message campaigns. In this role, you’ll gain hands‑on experience building digital campaigns, reviewing content, working with data, and learning how digital communications reach customers. This is a great opportunity for a student interested in marketing or communications.
Key Accountabilities
- Help build and send email campaigns and digital communications journeys
- Review content for accuracy (links, formatting, images)
- Test emails and messages before they go out
- Assist with SMS/text message campaigns and landing pages
- Pull basic campaign results like opens and clicks
- Work with marketing and analytics team members on day‑to‑day tasks
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to digital marketing applications or tools (school or past internships)
- Basic understanding of digital communications
Skills and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Comfortable using digital tools and spreadsheets
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in digital marketing or customer communications

This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite at our Minnetonka, MN office, on average, 3 days per week.
The full hourly pay range for this position is $16.40 - $21.10. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $34,100 - $38,430. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data.
