Director, Corporate Strategy

The Director, Corporate Strategy at Balyasny Asset Management will be uniquely placed to contribute to the growth of an institutional hedge fund platform. The individual will partner with BAM leadership and subject matter experts to identify, research, and execute the Firm’s strategic priorities by:

• Contributing to the creation and supporting the execution of the firm’s strategic plan
• Performing due diligence on potential new strategies, products, and businesses
• Leading cross functional projects to build new or improve existing firm capabilities

INTERFACES WITH:

This highly visible role reports into the Head of Strategy. This individual will also work closely with the other members of the Strategy team well as members of the Management and Investment Committees and subject matter experts inside and outside the firm.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years of overall experience and 5+ years of experience in financial services
• Experience in management consulting and / or hedge funds required
• MBA or advanced degree preferred

• Demonstrated analytical rigor in quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial modeling
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to condense research into concise views
