Position Summary
The Director of Partnerships leads Union Omaha's corporate partnership business — net new sales, renewals, and account servicing. The Director owns the partnership revenue plan and inventory strategy, sells against marquee assets including front-of-kit jersey sponsorship and the forthcoming stadium-related inventory, and ensures world-class activation and fulfillment for partners ranging from regional businesses to national brands with an Omaha presence. The role is central to the club's commercial positioning during the stadium development phase.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and execute the annual corporate partnership sales plan, including net new acquisition, renewals, and upsells.
• Personally lead complex, high-value deals including front-of-kit, stadium-anchor partnerships, founding partner programs, and category-exclusive agreements.
• Manage the Partnerships team — new business, account management, and fulfillment — setting goals, coaching, and ensuring pipeline discipline.
• Develop inventory strategy and category planning; build proposal frameworks tied to client business outcomes (lead generation, employee engagement, brand presence, sampling/distribution, payment infrastructure, etc.).
• Own the strategy and sale of front-of-kit jersey sponsorship and other marquee assets, working closely with the Senior Director of Sales and President.
• Lead premium hospitality sales for partnership clients, including stadium-club product design when the new venue is in development.
• Partner with the Manager of Data & Analytics (dotted line) to measure partner ROI, value of inventory, and renewal probability.
• Represent the club at chamber events, business roundtables, and civic functions across the Omaha business community.
• Provide accurate revenue forecasts and pacing reports to the Senior Director of Sales on a recurring cadence.
