About this role
Position Overview
The Director of Talent Acquisition & Executive Recruiting is responsible for leading the company's enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategy to attract, hire, and retain exceptional talent. This position provides strategic leadership for the internal Talent Acquisition team while managing the organization's Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partner to ensure efficient, high-quality hiring at our corporate location and across multiple manufacturing facilities, in addition the individual will serve as the organization's executive recruiter who will partner directly with senior business leaders to shape executive search strategy, assess leadership talent, bring external market insight to the table, and help the company make stronger, faster, and more confident leadership decisions.
Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Acquisition
- Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's business objectives, growth initiatives, and workforce plans.
- Partner with executive leadership, HR Business Partners, and plant leadership to anticipate workforce needs and develop proactive recruiting strategies.
- Monitor labor market trends, workforce demographics, and competitive hiring practices to position the organization as an employer of choice.
- Lead executive and senior leadership searches
- Develop and maintain relationships with passive executive candidates and industry networks.
- Partner with senior leaders to define leadership competencies and organizational capability needs.
- Conduct executive interviews, candidate evaluations, and offer negotiations.
- Ensure a confidential, professional, and high-touch candidate experience throughout the executive recruitment process.
Talent Acquisition Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team
- Establish performance goals, service standards, and recruiting metrics for the team.
- Promote continuous learning, innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Ensure consistency in recruiting processes, interviewing practices, and candidate experience across all locations.
- RPO Partnership Management
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executives, business leaders, and hiring managers on talent acquisition best practices.
- Consult on hiring strategies, compensation competitiveness, and labor market conditions.
- Provide reporting on recruiting performance.
Talent Acquisition Operations
- Utilize recruiting analytics to drive continuous improvement and data-informed decision making.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, OFCCP requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 11 years of human resources experience
- At least 6 years of management experience
OR
- Master's degree and at least 9 years of human resources experience
- At least 6 years of management experience
OR
- At least 14 years of human resources experience
- At least 6 years of management experience
Additional Requirements

Desired Skills
- Progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including executive recruiting.
- Leadership experience managing Talent Acquisition teams.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, corporate, engineering, and supply chain organizations.
- Experience managing an external Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) provider or strategic recruiting vendor.
- Demonstrated success recruiting executive leaders and hard-to-fill talent.
- Proven success in large, complex, matrixed organizations
- Strong business acumen and comfort operating with senior executives
- Ability to assess executive talent beyond résumé fit, including leadership readiness, risk, and long-term scalability
- Strong judgment, discretion, and executive presence
- Experience influencing high-level stakeholders and managing confidential searches
- Strong knowledge of employment law, recruiting technologies, and talent analytics.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
