Job Description Summary
The Document Controller is responsible for supporting assigned areas related to delivering documents across one or more new commercial nuclear reactor projects for GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH). This role will serve as a contributor to the team responsible for the administration of information and control of documents across external interfacing systems using internal tools, while adhering to procedures and processes that support the quality program and project delivery requirements.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform activities related to document upload/download, transmittal, and submittal
- Review documents for conformance to business, regulatory and other requirements
- Manage document metadata in external interfacing systems from source locations
- Access and perform activities in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), and other interfacing tools
- Support resolution of conditions adverse to quality or other related improvements
- Provide dispositioning support for onsite records and documents, as necessary
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or an associate’s degree with 1-year of experience in Document Control or equivalent experience in Records Management, Configuration Management, Technical Writing or Engineering

- The work location for this role is at the GVH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC
- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in the commercial nuclear engineering industry.
- Familiarity with 10 CFR Part 810 and 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B.
- Professional verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; must work well in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills, project execution skills, and detail oriented.
- Ability to manage time and work on one or more projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude. Energetic problem-solver capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities. Must be able to work independently, with limited supervision, and aligned with subject matter experts or responsible owners.
- Experience with GE documentation systems, practices, and requirements.
- Experience with documentation management protocols in a high-tech, regulated environment.
- Familiarity with Documentum, Aconex, Enovia, and Teamcenter.
- Proficient with MS Products, Apps and Services; Smartsheet; Adobe software.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $80,000.00 and $120,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
