Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Position
Starting August 2026 for the entire school year
Support preschool-aged students (ages 3-5) with a variety of developmental and educational needs
About the Role
Ampersand Therapy is hiring an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher to support young learners near Englewood, CO. In this role, you'll provide specialized instruction and early intervention services that help preschool students build foundational academic, communication, social-emotional, adaptive, and behavioral skills.
This position is ideal for an educator who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to create meaningful learning experiences for young children.

What You'll Do
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for preschool-aged students
Provide specialized instruction in communication, social-emotional development, adaptive skills, and pre-academic areas
Create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning activities
Support students with varying developmental delays and disabilities
Collaborate with families, therapists, and educational staff to support student success
Conduct ongoing progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
Utilize evidence-based practices and positive behavior supports
Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment
What We're Looking For
Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching License with Special Education endorsement
Early Childhood Special Education endorsement preferred
Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
Passion for supporting young learners and their families
School-based experience preferred but not required
