About the Department

Improves retention and ensures student progression in Early College course offerings through ongoing communication with course faculty and Early College student advisors with intensive student follow-up. Plans, develops and implements Early College intervention activities. Serve as a liaison between high school officials, counselors, parents, students and OCtech faculty. Manage an Early College case management assignment. Develop, implement and maintain the Early College communication plan to ensure knowledge of support services and provide timely follow-up with students and high school administrators for faculty generated alerts and progress reports. In conjunction with Early College Director, create and administer integrated advising initiatives to efficiently move students from application, scheduling and degree progression. Develop, supervise and administer innovative enrollment and advising support to increase Early College student enrollment. In conjunction with Early College Director design and implement the annual recruitment plan to include recruitment and admissions activities for the year. Performs related duties as assigned. 

Position Duties

Bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs. 

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree with 2 years experience in Student Services Program or Bachelor's degree with 5 years in Student Services programs preferred.

Other Qualifications

The position will require travel to area high schools and technology centers. May have to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of students.
