Overview Layout and assemble wiring for equipment. Responsibilities Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment Read and interpret drawings and application legends for circuit and part identification Measure and cut wiring accurately Use hand tools throughout the workday Collaborate effectively with team members Follow all safety rules and regulations Support Lean initiatives (5S, 4I, LDMS, ACPs, RATs, etc.) Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 0–2 years of experience in a related field May require completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in a specialized area Ability to read electrical drawings Strong understanding of wire gauges and color codes Experience with electrical hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers, cable cutters) Knowledge of electrical components such as contactors, breakers, transformers, communication boards, and controllers Flexibility to work overtime as needed Willingness to work at different stations as required Strong verbal communication skills General knowledge of hand tools Team-oriented mindset Physical Capabilities Based on Daily Work Schedule of 5 day work week, 8 - 10 hour shift: Sitting: 2–3 hours per day Walking: ~1 hour per day Standing: 8–10 hours per day Lifting: 35 lbs frequently | 50 lbs occasionally Carrying: 25 lbs frequently | 50 lbs occasionally Bending, Reaching, Squatting, Twisting: Frequent Climbing & Crawling: Occasional Arms: Full range of motion required Benefits & Perks – What’s In It For You* Hussmann is committed to supporting your total wellbeing through a wide variety of benefits and wellness programs to support your physical, emotional, financial, social, and environmental health.
