During your internship at Reflect Orbital you will be given as much responsibility as our full-time team-members. You work will contribute to directly to the success of our flying constellation. Ideal candidates for internships will be comfortable facing challenges with no known solution, willing to be hands-on individual contributors, and able to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks in-person at our Hawthorne, CA office. Responsibilities

  • Design test systems for avionics PCBAs and other components
  • Write test software for these test systems to enable automated acceptance testing of PCBAs for high production rate, high reliability avionics systems
  • Design acceptance test protocols and ensure proper test coverage. In short, make sure boards are built correctly before we fly them to space.
  • Prototype and iterate rapidly

Ideal Qualifications

  • You're capable of incredibly scrappy solutions, but also have experience building & shipping complex and high quality solutions when the problem requires it
  • Experience writing python, ideally exercising common hardware test peripherals like power supplies, electronic loads, DAQs, etc
  • A careful eye and dedication to ensuring electronics are tested properly before we send them to space.
  • You're both capable of working highly independently, but you know when to seek experience
