About this role
Description
- Build, wire, troubleshoot, and test custom industrial electrical systems for overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels, motor controls, sensors, drives, and related components.
- Diagnose electrical issues and ensure every finished system meets the highest standards for quality and performance.
- Share your expertise by coaching, mentoring, and developing apprentice and junior electricians.
- Demonstrate proper electrical techniques, safe work practices, and quality workmanship every day.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, teamwork, accountability, and craftsmanship.
- Partner with engineering and production teams to solve problems and improve processes.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as needed while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Help build not only exceptional equipment—but exceptional electricians.
- Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent industrial electrical experience.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, control panels, and three-phase power.
- Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- A passion for mentoring and developing the next generation of skilled electricians.
