About this role

What You Will Do:

  • System Development: Understand the customer’s functional/operational needs and participate in requirements decomposition, overseeing proper allocation of technical elements
  • System Integration & Test: Support system integration, test, design verification, fault identification, failure resolution, and/or acceptance of production hardware.
  • Provide engineering support to lab test and qualification activities, providing engineering oversight to the test, evaluation, and analysis of issues pertaining to system hardware and firmware functionality and performance.
  • Provide support for situations including (but not limited to) customer inquiries, field failures, product obsolescence, system enhancements, new product development, integration and transition to production.
  • Evaluate and assess the performance of developmental electronic warfare systems, including signal processing subsystems.
  • Able to balance multiple, varying commitments, exercising discretion and with moderately low direct oversight.

What You Will Learn:

After completion of comprehensive on-the-job training, the candidate will be a part of a team supporting Systems Engineering, Systems Integration & Test activities across the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Master’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date.
  • This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Academic or extracurricular experience with radio, comms, or radar systems design, operation, analysis, or simulation.
  • Experience communicating and presenting system design details and/or system test results to stakeholders
  • Experience analyzing, developing and implementing solutions to complex technical problems in conditions of moderate uncertainty.
  • Ability to support occasional business travel (20% or less).

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Exposure to RF system design, digital and/or analog signal processing, waveform and signal modulation analysis, and/or algorithm implementation and testing.
  • Experience with development, implementation, and test of RF jamming algorithms.
  • Experience using MATLAB, PathWave ADS, and/or PathWave EMPro for simulation and design of RF systems.
  • Exposure to/experience with C/C++ or Python programing languages
  • RF receiver/exciter product design, development, and/or test experience in the Electronic Attack (i.e. signals jamming) sub-domain of EW.
