Bose co-op program aims to provide students with hands-on opportunities to solve real-world problems with software skills. In addition to enhancing software development skills, you will also collaborate with research, acoustic tuning teams to see the product life cycle. Our team strives to make every intern/co-op experience rewarding, practical, and seamless to successfully launch your career after graduation.

Fall Co-op: Candidates must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) in a hybrid, in-office format from July 13 through December 18, 2026. No relocation assistance is available.

Being currently authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position.

Education

  • BS student minimum, graduate student preferred

Skills

  • Coursework in embedded systems, real-time operating system (RTOS), algorithms, or computer architecture
  • Experience in C, Python, and MATLAB
  • Experience in algorithm development, validation, performance benchmarking, and code optimization
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms for audio applications

Responsibilities

  • Develop prototype SW modules that meet system design requirements
  • Write high-quality, maintainable source code that meets peer code review expectation
  • Deploy, operate work product in the embedded development environment
  • Technical documentation on software design, implementation, and validation
