- Pennsylvania College of Technology (Williamsport): August 18 – December 10, 2026
- Northern Pennsylvania Regional College (Potter/Tioga): July 27 – December 7, 2026
- Career Advancement: Prepare for the NREMT exam and transition into a full-time EMT role
What You’ll Gain

✅ What You Need to Apply
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required
- Role includes operating a UPMC vehicle; MVR check required (violations within 36 months may impact eligibility)
- Program Enrollment: Must pass the FISDAP entrance exam and enroll in:
- Pennsylvania College of Technology, or
- Northern Pennsylvania Regional College

- Certifications (Post-Training):
- National Registry EMT Certification
- PA EMT Certification with EMSVO endorsement
- CPR/BLS, EVDT, PHTLS, Hazmat Awareness, NIMS/ICS 100, 200, 700 & 800
- Clearances: Act 33, Act 34, and FBI Act 73 (with renewal).
