What does an ERC with Paul Davis do?
As an ERC, you are ready to help people in their time of need. You need to think quickly but in a controlled manner to ensure the property owner that you can take care of their property. ERCs work with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers, First Responders, and Community Leaders after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to help our customers receive the highest quality care as they transition from chaos to calm. ERCs are dynamic speakers and comfortable when interacting in both one-on-one and group settings.
Responsibilities:
· Generate revenue opportunities by directly consulting with property owners impacted by fire, water damage, or other large-scale emergency events
· Cooperate with public emergency response agencies and private entities
· Create and retain customer loyalty and preference by establishing a positive and trusting relationship with the customer
· Participate in restoration related community awareness events and programs
· Proactively searches for, acts upon potential opportunities ERC’s work with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers, First Responders, and Community Leaders after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to help our customers receive the highest quality care
· The ERC will develop a positive and trusting relationship with the property owner
Qualifications:
· Preferred to have emergency services experience; military, fire service, EMS, police, dispatching of emergency responders.
· Ability to clearly deliver truth and give certainty when property owners need it most
· Proficient with a variety of current technology
· Career emphasis on learning and continuing education
· Sound planning and organizational skills
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Valid Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required
· Must be able to prioritize and manage time

Role on the Team
· Responsible for educating the customer on products or services and effectively articulate the use and need
· Monitors interprets and responds to lead sources
· Establish and maintain positive relationships in the local community
· Volunteer non-operational time to related community events
· On-call 24/7 to include weekends and holidays as scheduled
· Achieve and remain current in required certifications
· Provide emergency recovery kits and services to the impacted property owner
· Support the office and company in their organizational mission, vision, and values
Required Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or GED required
· (Preferred) Four plus years’ experience in the following areas (any combination): restoration, military, fire services, EMS, police, medical responder, dispatching of emergency responders, construction, insurance
· Experience in an outside sales role or customer service role
· Experience in restoration or construction industries is strongly preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
· The physical environment requires the employee to work in all types of both indoor and outdoor conditions, and at times hazardous conditions.
· Frequently required to use personal protective equipment, having the ability to stand or walk, occasionally bending, squatting, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds
