Join our team in the where you will provide compassionate care to patients alongside a dedicated team. You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

 

How you’ll contribute 

A Nurse who excels in this role: 

  • Coordinates and manages all components of the Employee Health program
  • Collaborates with departments, physicians, Human Resources, and staff to support employee health processes
  • Conducts employee health screenings, evaluations, and maintains health records in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Organizes and administers mobile vaccine clinics across all departments as needed
  • Assists with infection control surveillance, education, and program support
  • Serves as back-up for the Infection Prevention Nurse, supporting infection prevention initiatives and response efforts
  • Supports new hire onboarding processes in partnership with Human Resources, including health clearances and screenings
  • Responds to employee exposures, injuries, and infection control-related incidents
  • Participates in emergency and crisis situations related to employee health and infection control
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

What we’re looking for 
Applicants should have a current state license. Additional requirements include: 

 

  • Strong knowledge of Employee Health and infection control practices
  • Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills
  • Experience partnering with Human Resources for onboarding and employee-related processes preferred
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) or Infection Control (CIC) preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. 
  • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.  
  • ASLS certification preferred
