This position will be a mechanical Engineering heavy role that provides support to the Transuranic Waste Processing Center. This facility is responsible for processing various waste streams to ensure compliant shipment of waste for offsite, long-term disposal. The Engineer will provide oversight and support that ensures their system is keeping the workers safe while also supporting the operational requirements of the facility. A successful candidate will be required to:
The ideal candidate will have experience with systems engineering (preferably ventilation systems), Safety Basis experience (TSR, DSA, SER), and working knowledge of system health analysis.

Job-Related Qualifications Required: | ||||||
Education: BS in an appropriate engineering discipline from a four-year accredited college or university Experience: 2+ years of experience required. Minimum 1 year experience in the Nuclear Industry. (EIT) certificate or PE preferred. | ||||||
