About this role

The Opportunity:

This Engineering Internship program will be for 10 weeks (40 hours each week), starting June 1 and ending August 7. The first week will be onsite at our corporate office in Blue Ash, Ohio. You will be exposed to hands-on training to develop stronger leadership, organization, communication and time management skills. You’ll work with management to analyze and anticipate business needs, identify challenges and learn about healthcare related issues and regulations. You’ll be given the opportunity to tackle real-world projects, share your insights with senior leadership and make an impact during your internship. A dedicated mentor will be teamed up with you to coach and guide you throughout the program.

Essential Job Functions

  • Hands-on training to develop stronger leadership, organization, communication and time management skills. Connect with people and work on building key personal and trusted relationships to foster communication.
  • Analyze and anticipate business needs, identify challenges, and learn healthcare-related issues/regulations.
  • Work on long-term projects to help solve a business problem. Assist with brainstorming ideas and bringing a creative and curious mind to help elevate the business.
  • Partner with mentors to help improve financial outcomes and patient experiences supporting our revenue cycle management.
  • Participate in development and gain exposure into various areas of the business.
  • Gain insight and understanding of processes in an agile environment that help drive the business.
  • Work with mentors to better understand metrics contributing to overall performance measurement.
