Your Role on Our Team:
We are looking for an Engineering Technician passionate about product development, quality control and reliability, and being hands-on. A typical Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting test development and execution while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Exercise responsibility for thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy of work performed
- Support New Product Development – Quality & Reliability teams through test execution, documentation, and data analysis
- Maintain agility and support multiple requests within designated projects while maintaining priority organization and efficiency
- Follow work instructions and test fixture procedures
- Prepare efficient test procedures from test specifications
- Perform hands-on testing using a variety of electrical and mechanical test equipment and techniques
- Prepare reports utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, databases, spreadsheets and statistical / graphical software
- Participate in the improvement and development of testing, equipment, and documents
- Maintain test procedures and equipment according to departmental procedures
- Support the purchase, transfer, and shipping of equipment and materials
- Contribute to organizational goals and objectives
The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
- Requires an education equivalent to a technical Associate Degree
- Excellent organization & communication skills
- Experience with test equipment, test procedures and methods, technical writing, mechanical/electrical principles
- High proficiency of Computer Skills and Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of test concepts in the design and development of products and components.
Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:
- Experience working with product development or design
- Experience working with data acquisition and test instrumentation
- Experience with technical writing
