Environmental Engineers manage compliance with EPA, state, and local regulations covering air, water, waste, and emissions. Roles and Responsibilities
· Develop, implement, and maintain the company's environmental policies and procedures.
· Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards.
· Conduct regular environmental risk assessments, identify potential environmental impacts, and recommend mitigation measures.
· Support the development and operation of the Environmental Management System (EMS).
Work Experience
Minimum Education
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent
· Majors in environmental engineering, environmental science, Water & Wastewater Treatment, Waste management
·
Minimum Skills and Experience
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world production
· In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.
· Energy auditing and statistical processing skills.
Preferred Education
· Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) certification
· Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification
Preferred Skills and Experience
· Experience in environmental compliance in a manufacturing or other industrial environment
· Experience with environmental management systems (ISO 14001)
· Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of environmental regulations (air, water, hazardous waste)

Employment Conditions
During the initial setup phase of the company, employer-sponsored benefits (including health insurance) may not be immediately available upon hire.
