Evening Caregiver

Summary:

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is hiring for Evening Caregivers in Litchfield. We are looking for Caregivers who can work 4pm-9pm 7 days a week. The main function of the caregivers is to provide care for clients in a safe, secure, professional environment which meets their needs. This client is open to having one or two Caregivers provide services. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations. Our Caregivers go the extra mile to ensure clients are happy, healthy and have peace of mind.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding

• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable

• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary

• Converses with patients to provide assurance

• Observes Universal Precautions

• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping

• Provides patient laundry and linen changes

• Light housekeeping

• Provides medication reminders

• Meal preparation and clean up

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation

• Exceptional interpersonal skills

• Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
