Job Description

You will be a Senior Manager for three teams within the F-35 Item Management organization.

What You Will Be Doing

As the F-35 Item Management Senior Manager you will lead three teams within the F-35 Supply Items Management organization overseeing a variety of systems/commodities (ex. Deployment team and Mission Systems) reporting to the Senior Manager for F-35 Sustainment Supply. You will oversee the management of large scale, complex systems and operations across multiple contracts. You will guide a dynamic team of other leaders and individual contributors.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include as follows:

• Responsible for leading and empowering team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex technical or operational problems. Develops and administers budgets, schedules and performance standards.
• Assist in establishment of operating policies and procedures that impact the Items Management organization. Provides guidance to team based on organizational goals and company policy.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the supply availability strategy and execution plans. Supports the Sales, Inventory & Operations Synchronization (SIOP) process in optimizing aggregated demands across all sources of supply
• Manages organizational change, talent development and retention, and organizational growth.
• Use project management expertise to troubleshoot, create solutions, and build project plans for complex supply issues that arise

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or combination of equivalent experience and education

• Demonstrated experience in supplier performance management, supply readiness improvements, and/or inventory management processes using supply related tools, processes and/or data architectures (i.e. SAP, ERP tools)

• Previous demonstrated experience in formally leading teams (i.e. previous L-code or leadership experience) and/or developing strategic plans

• Previous demonstrated Project Management experience (i.e. building and delivering to project plans; managing deadlines, budget, changing priorities). Previous experience driving closure and resolving complex and large-scale technical issues and/or challenges

• Experience fostering customer relationship

Desired skills

• Demonstrated development of Independent and Self-Motivated teams

• Experience with and/or supporting agile methodology and execution of work

• Proven experience as a strategic thinker with the ability to translate into action and results.

• Experience supporting a government customer and wide variety of customers.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $138,100 - $243,455. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $158,800 - $275,195. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
