Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Facilities Electrician Supervisor without more than normal supervision. 1. Supervising electrical personnel to ensure safe and compliant completion of facility electrical work. 2.Assigning electrical tasks to maintain effective workload distribution and meet operational priorities. 3. Inspecting electrical work to verify accuracy, workmanship, and adherence to codes and standards. 4. Resolving electrical problems to support timely repair and uninterrupted facility operations. 5. Training electrical workers to ensure they understand proper methods, safety requirements, and technical procedures for facility electrical tasks. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability To Lead or Supervise Ability to Use and Maintain Hand Tools (Electrical Work) Ability to Use Electrical Drawings Knowledge of Electrical Equipment Technical Practices (Theoretical, Precise, Artistic) Theory and Instruments (Electrical, Electronic) Used in Shop and Trade Practices Trouble shooting (electrical)

Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. In making this determination, the agency may consider your performance and conduct; agency needs and interests; whether your continued employment supports organizational or Government goals; and whether it promotes the efficiency of the Federal service. Continued employment requires written certification that it advances the public interest. This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed. Direct deposit of pay is required. This is a(n) Installation Management Career Field position. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
