Duties

Assists the primary POC at the recycling center for arrangement and pickup of material. Sets priorities for daily workload to ensure mission objectives are met. Coordinates delivery pickup schedules to ensure materials are properly weighed.,Coordinates delivery pickup schedules to ensure materials are properly weighed and accounted for in the sale of contracted recyclable materials. Provides recommendations on ways to improve the program and increase revenue.,Performs as the leader in developing employee work/leave schedules, daily assignments, determines training needs and is responsible for training new employees.,Provides feedback on performance standards and provides input on formal appraisals of team work performance. Establishes and operates a waste minimization yard to increase commodity sales and maximize revenue.,Implements, enforces, and ensures compliance with QRP and environmental regulations to provide community business operations which meet the needs and interest of the military community.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Subject lo satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tler 1 background investigation. 2. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and a forklift 3.Have general understanding of recycling and d!version of materials. 4. Must possess a valid fork lift license and motor vehicle license. Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others may be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list. Best Qualified 1. 3 years+ experience in Qualified Recycling Program (QRP) at a large installation or equivalent size civilian recycling program. 2. ability to operate a forklift. NOTE: The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents. A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application.
