About this role
IU Health Medical Group South Region is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our well-established primary care practice at IU Health Medical Group Primary Care - Liberty Drive in Bloomington, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional outpatient care while enjoying a strong work-life balance in one of Indiana's most vibrant communities.
Opportunity Details
- Full-time, 100% outpatient position
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Join an established team of 3 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers
- Opportunity to inherit an existing patient panel
- Supportive and collegial practice environment; candidate must be comfortable collaborating with APP colleagues
- Minimal call responsibilities, averaging approximately one day per quarter
- After-hours calls are screened through an RN triage service
- In-office procedures based on physician training, competency, and comfort level
- Teaching opportunities available through the Internal Medicine Residency Program
- Research opportunities available through discussion with practice leadership
- Practice located in Bloomington, Indiana, with relocation to a brand-new Liberty Drive facility anticipated by the end of 2026
