What you'll do:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of complex scientific instrumentation at customer sites.
- Provide exceptional technical support and customer service, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures, both remotely and on-site.
- Conduct training for customers on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
- Complete and submit service reports, expense reports, and other necessary documentation in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain service parts inventory.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Who you are:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in field service, troubleshooting, and repairing electro-mechanical equipment.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, optics, and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%) within the assigned territory (Pittsburgh, PA and surrounding areas).
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
