Location: 921 W Monroe Avenue, Lowell, AR. 

Position is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as needed. 

This position supports our Strategic Finance team within the Asset & Liability Management (ALM) group, helping the Bank navigate the complexities of financial risk. The focus will be on learning how different financial drivers such as interest rates, investment durations, and market shifts impact our income statement and overall financial health. We provide the tools and the framework; we’re looking for someone with the curiosity and drive to learn how the pieces fit together.

SUMMARY: The Finance and Business Analyst 1 will assist with a variety of financial and business activities including budgeting, financial model maintenance, day-to-day general reporting and focused analytical review of financial information, data, dashboards and reports. The Finance and Business Analyst 1 will investigate defined questions and issues and work with applicable subject matter experts to ensure data quality and drive resolution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Responsible for day]to]day general reporting and analysis as assigned.
  2. Assist with a variety of financial and business activities including, but not limited to, financial and data analyses, budgeting, forecasting, business intelligence, performance measurement, incentive calculations, modeling and activity costing.
  3. Assist with data, reporting and application testing as assigned.
  4. Ask questions and look for data to identify and differentiate the indicators of every day, defined problems.
  5. Investigate defined questions and issues, work with applicable subject matter experts to assist with requests, ensure data quality and drive resolution, and escalate issues for further investigation and options for consideration.
  6. Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as assigned.
  7. Maintain various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all of Finance during the planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review.
  8. Ask questions and solicits procedural information that explains how day]to]day tasks are conducted.
  9. Maintain and provide control documents for audits (change logs, reconciliations, Standard Operating Procedures, etc.).
  10. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Math or Statistics or equivalent work experience required.
  • Understanding of general accounting and finance concepts and terminology required.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
  • 1 year of experience with financial analysis and modeling, benchmark, productivity, performance measurements or Business Intelligence analytic practices or equivalent preferred.

Pay Range: $25.30 - $31.60 per hour
