Department Overview

We are seeking a Finance Intern – Corporate FP&A / Oracle EPM to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role reports to the Director, Finance and is based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in-office position with hands-on exposure to enterprise financial planning systems and modern FP&A tools.

Position Responsibilities

  • Support Corporate FP&A with product revenue forecasting and P&L performance tracking versus plan.
  • Assist with the implementation and enhancement of the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform, focused on revenue and P&L reporting.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for Oracle EPM builds, validating data, calculations, hierarchies, and report outputs.
  • Help design and maintain standard reports and dashboards within Oracle EPM and/or Amazon QuickSight used by finance leadership.
  • Perform data validations and tie-outs to ensure Oracle EPM outputs are accurate, consistent, and reliable.
  • Support Oracle EPM AI‑readiness efforts by helping ensure data quality, structured inputs, and clean reporting outputs that enable AI‑enabled planning, forecasting, and analytics capabilities.
  • Contribute to ad hoc FP&A and finance systems projects related to reporting, analytics, and process improvement.


What You Will Learn

  • How Corporate FP&A manages the company P&L and forecasts product revenue
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM used for planning, forecasting, and reporting
  • How finance teams move from Excel to cloud-based, system-driven planning
  • The basics of user acceptance testing (UAT) for Oracle EPM implementations
  • How to build dashboards and executive reports in Oracle EPM and/or Amazon QuickSight
  • How AI‑enabled capabilities within Oracle EPM are shaping the future of FP&A


Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently a student earning a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Must be graduating between spring 2026 and summer 2027


Desired Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data
  • Systems-oriented, detail-focused, and quick to learn new tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Interest in Oracle EPM, FP&A systems, analytics, or AI‑enabled finance tools
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced Corporate FP&A environment

Salary Statement with pay range
Bloom Energy is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The total compensation for this position is based on various factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience.

The pay range for this position $31.25 - $43.75 per hour

Salary Ranges:

$31.25 - $34.25
